What is Restaurant Week?
BWS Restaurant Week is an exciting promotion that invites people to savor the finest dining experiences in New Haven and its neighboring towns. This special event takes place throughout the entire week of BWS Fest, during which participating restaurants delight guests with enticing multi-course fixed-price menus.
BWS Restaurant Week is designed to shine a spotlight on all participating Black-owned restaurants, enticing both local residents and visitors to indulge in the diverse offerings of these establishments. Whether you're discovering new culinary gems or revisiting your favorite spots, you'll have the opportunity to relish unique menu offerings during this unforgettable week.
Kindly note, there are (3) parts to completing your Restaurant Week registration:
Part 1: Restaurant Week Registration Form (which is below)
***It's highly recommended you gather all information for the Restaurant Week Registration Form first because you CANNOT save your progress.
Part 2: Payment for participating (which will be prompted after you hit the "Submit" button at the bottom of the Restaurant Week Registration Form)
Part 3: Acknowledgement of Terms & Conditions (which will be emailed to you immediately after you submit payment for participating)
It's important that you complete ALL (3) parts in order to be considered completely registered. You will receive a registration confirmation email after submitting "Part 3 - Acknowledgement of Terms & Conditions". Please check your spam if you don't see it in your inbox. If you don't receive a confirmation email, that means your registration is incomplete.
Participating restaurants enjoy extensive exposure through various marketing channels, including print, web, email, and social media promotions. Your establishment will be featured on the official website for the entire festival, BWSFestival.com. Restaurants will have a dedicated section on our website showcasing their restaurant details and curated BWS Restaurant Week menus, ensuring that diners can easily discover and explore their offerings. By participating, your restaurant has the potential to attract new customers from our anticipated traffic of 50,000 BWS Fest attendees throughout the week.
The participation fee is $250 per restaurant to participate in the week-long promotion, and payment is by credit card only.
For Food Vendors: Restaurants that are participating as a Food Vendor on Saturday, August 17th do NOT have to pay the participation fee and should ONLY complete their BWS Restaurant Registration Form received in their email with all vendor discounts/perks. (Email is titled "(Discounts Inside) Enjoy Other BWS Fest Experiences as a Vendor")
